Am I crazy? aka Project: Infinite Love
This is the thought that keeps running through my head…but I’m at rest when I peacefully recall when this idea hit me like a ton of bricks. I was in the middle of worrying whether or not my business will “make it” next year, or whether or not I’ll have to sell my dream condo. I was trying so hard not to worry and instead to be in a meditative state…but fear is powerful and if you let it, can take over your mind, and your life!
When this idea came to me, it’s like nothing else mattered to anymore. I knew this was my calling in business, what I am meant to be doing. There was no fear, only tears of gratitude…like really? this is it? I don’t have to worry about how to “get” more clients…I can just focus on giving to the world? I know it seems crazy…I still wonder about it…and I’m going to launch forward with faith in my heart anyways.
There is another way to do business…and business can be about serving others. This is what I’m out to create! I’ll be sharing my inspirations along the way, my trials, tribulations…and if I can inspire other entrepreneurs to do that same, nothing would make me happier.
So here we go..weeeeeee! Please nominate friends/family for their FREE shoot today!
Hi Sangeeta,
I would like to nominate Lily Cheng for a photoshoot. I first met Lily at an Ontario Early Years Centre about a year and a half ago, this is where she introduced all of us to the North York Moms group, a group that she founded four years ago which has now become a strong community of 4000+ moms. Personally she helped me overcome a lot of my struggles in the early days of motherhood and gave us all a platform to share our thoughts and receive only support and love and care. She is restless and has done so much for the community those include:
– Community ambassador for families in the area, speaks to MPs in regard to community concerns
– Coordinates meal trains (different people cook for a family in need because of a loss of a loved one, sickness or other) for those in need in the community
– Spearheads large community family events
– Spearheaded refugee sponsorship last year – successfully sponsored a couple with a child who now live in the area
– Organized a christmas event for single mothers as a way to bring them together and sponsored a few mothers for christmas to help provide them with food and gifts over the holidays
– Created a group for mom entrepreneurs in the area
and much much more, on top of being a wife and mother or two. For this and much more I think she is very deserving of a photoshoot!
Nomination re: Project Infinite Love
Hi Sangeeta!
Hope all is well with you! I love this new project idea you will be working on in the new year and super excited to see the fruits of your labour! I would love to nominate my parents, Young & Soony Park whom you met when you did our wedding photo shoot. My parents are have been incredibly supportive my entire life and even more so since my husband Paul & I have had our newest addition to the family, baby Noah. They bravely came here to Toronto, Canada at a young age in order to raise my brother and myself here and left behind their family and friend in Korea. They did not speak English very well, did not have alot of money, but made it work. My mother, now in her late 60’s and father whom is now 75 yrs old are now retired and enjoying life to the fullest. In their free time, they enjoy playing golf, going to church and taking care of my little Yorkie, Pinky! I really would love for them to have this opportunity to partake in your Project Infinite Love as they have always shown us the love they have for love, family and each other. Thank you for the consideration!
